How do I load a Bid List?

While the Bid List is maintained as an Excel spreadsheet, it can be saved/exported as a Comma Separated Value (.csv) file, which can be imported into the web site as a table. To do that:

    1. Save the current Excel spreadsheet as a .csv file
    2. Login to the WMS web site as Admin
    3. Go to the Administrative“Dashboard”
    4. Click on Tools ==> WP-Table Reloaded (left hand menu)
    5. Click on “Import a Table” (choose CSV as table type, Replace existing Table, and File upload)
    6. Select Choose file and navigate to your local copy of .csv
    7. Click on Import Table to upload and replace previous file
    8. Review table and click “Save and go back”

How do I add/change a post?<br />    (What's New, Featured Slider)

Wordpress (the software package that runs the web site) thinks of thing in “posts’ or “pages”. WMS is using posts to deliver small, date oriented, and/or graphically oriented information. The Featured slider uses posts with a specific category tied to them (“Featured”) while the What’s New posts use another specific category (“What’s New”). To add/modify a post:

    1. Login to the WMS web site as Admin
    2. Go to the Administrative“Dashboard”
    3. Click on Posts ==> Posts (or Add New, alternatively)
    4. Modifying a Post
      • Mouse over the title of the post you want to edit, “Edit” (among other things) will appear. Click on Edit to be taken to the edit post page.
      • To limit access, Under “Access” (right hand column) Select Customers, Staff, and/or Support as appropriate.
      • Modify as appropriate and click “Update”
    5. Adding a Post
      • Add title and context in first two updateable boxes (respectively)
      • Click on appropriate category (as detailed above)
      • To limit access, Under “Access” (right hand column) Select Customers, Staff, and/or Support as appropriate.
      • Click on “Publish” to have it made available on the web site.
    6. To view changes, click on “View Page” button, or (IMHO, a better alternative), Right click on WMS Sales (upper right) and “Open in new tab”, then navigate to appropriate post.

    2. Go to the Administrative“Dashboard”
    3. Click on Pages ==> Pages (or Add New, alternatively)
